FO Alert: Lyra

By far one of my favorite big circular shawls yet, this is Lyra by Herbert Niebling. 

This was an absolute dream to knit, due in no small part to the gorgeous Juniper Lace yarn from Evergreen Fiberworks in the magical colorway Velvet. Seriously, this colorway is some kind of magical (as I kept telling Val from EFW while I was knitting it) and on the merino/silk blend laceweight, it is truly spectacular.

This pattern has 2 variations - one circle and one square. I opted for the square shape because I thought the circular version edging looked too crowded. I'm very happy with the option I chose, and I'm very happy with this final product!
